Obtaining the Spell
Minimum Blue Mage Level Needed To Acquire Spell: Level 1
Power Attack is best hunted in East or West Ronfaure.

This spell can be soloed starting at level 2 or 3. No party is needed for the Ronfaure camps.

No Special items are needed.

Beetle Hunting Grounds Camp #1
Name Level Location
Scarab Beetle 3-6 East/West Ronfaure
Copper Beetle 9-12 Palborough Mines
Beady Beetle 11-16 Inner Horutoto Ruins
Beady Beetle 15-18 Carpenters' Landing
Stag Beetle 20-23 Carpenters' Landing/Jugner Forest/Meriphataud Mountains

Just head out from San d'Oria and kill Beetles. At Low levels the Damage moves can hurt, so be ready for them. Rhino Guard's Evasion Boost can also cause the low level player some difficulty.

If you choose to get the spell in the Palborough Mines, or the other higher areas, you should be at least level 10 or higher. Beware of aggro from Quadav in the Mines if you hunt there at lower levels.

There are many other Beetle class monsters all over the world. They are all higher in level, and many will require a party, or skilled help to kill. With so many easy low level options, they are not recommended.

Special notes about the spell a Blue Mage may like to know
Can I solo it? Yes. A very easy spell to solo starting at level 2.
Do I need any special items? No, but a low damage weapon to feed the Monster TP helps.
Do Beetles like to use the move? They have several moves, but seem to favor it.
The Spell deals Blunt type damage. It's a great spell to feed TP to mobs with.
Power Attack can be paired with Mandibular Bite or Spiral Spin to create the Plantoid Killer Trait.
